I stayed at mercurio during my recent visit to milan and it was superb. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. For a budget stay, it offered good value with nice sunlight in the mornings.
air conditioning was not functioning properly.

The most important is location. Even they don't have any parking available there is plenty oportunities to park a car. The center of the city is only a fev km away. You can easily explore the city by foot. A fter a day spent among streets of the city you don' care about the room ...
It would be nice to have a fev tables for breakfast and to relax with cofee cup after a long walking by the streets of the city...

Clean rooms with helpful staff throughout my stay.
Upon arrival, the check-in process was frustrating. The manager was uncooperative and did not speak English well. The room felt unsafe, with the door malfunctioning every time I left it, frustratingly unlocking itself without my intervention.

the breakfast choices are savoury and tasty with top espresso and cookies, as example.

We stayed there because it was close to the family member we were visiting in Milan. It met all our needs but was not particularly interesting.
The heating in the room could not be adjusted and it was much too warm. The shower was so small it was hard to move in it.

Neat and fairly quiet room, nice stay!
Perfect hotel and comfortable and PERFECT location close to metro station. Savoury breakfast with cookies and top espresso, as example and amicable staff. Location really close to Famous Doumino square as well as the M2 Metro line.

A budget stay with quirks
The hotel is cheap for Milano. The room was decent for resting, with a cozy bed and clean enough for comfort. It's conveniently located near public transport, with a quick tram ride to major attractions.
The room was small and had a worn-out feel, and the noise from nearby guests made it hard to sleep. The breakfast options were quite limited, and the heating wasn't effective during the colder nights, leaving me chilly.

The ceiling fan was about to collapse, but I guess safety isn't their priority. Warm water took forever, and surprise, the bathroom was a bit dirty, a lovely touch. I almost considered giving a good review, but the absence of a welcome gift was quite shocking for someone of my stature.

Great location, clean room, comfortable bed with a pleasant view of the neighborhood from the window, and the convenient access to public transportation just 15 km from Linate airport made my stay enjoyable.
